We Love Books

If there's one thing our parents showered us when we were growing up, it's books! Pwede na kami magtayo ng library sa lahat ng books naming naipon through the years. We (my brothers and I) got hooked with Berenstain Bears books. Kinukompleto talaga namin yun. We were like that until college. Haha!

And now that I have Bea, I want to pass to her our book collection. I can say na buhay padin mga books namin hanggang ngayon. Mama did a good job preserving them. She thought us to take care of our books and so we did. Okay, Bea is kinda young to use our books, we have to wait until she's a little older.

We want to raise Bea to be a book-lover too, so we're starting her own book collection now. Sinusuyod talaga nya yung mga Booksale to look for a good book.

Booksale sells low-priced unused, as well as pre-owned books from US, Canada, Australia nad UK. Keber na lang kung second hand noh, sa mahal ng mga hardbounds ngayon, go lang ng go! Ika-nga ng Booksale, "We make reading affordable!" ;)

Here are some of Mama's Booksale finds:
Wibbly Pig
opens his presents
This is my favorite book that I read to Bea.
Bea busy reading kahit baligtad :P
The Little Engine That Could!
This books has alot of lift-and-learn flaps. Bea enjoys discovering what's under the flap. It teaches opposites, counting, shapes and more. This is very sulit kasi every morning ito talaga hinahanap ni Bea. She spends minutes with it. She's quite pag ito kaharap nya. Naaliw sya sobra!

This one naman is Magic English. But then come to think of it, hindi naman namin winawaldas yung pera kung saan-saan. Educational naman 'to kaya okay na din. As of now, hindi pa ginagamit ni Bea yan. Di pa nya kasi naappreciate. Pati yung mga CD, di pa nya type panuorin. Ideal for 2 years old and above kasi yan so we have to wait a little more.

Here's Mama's latest finds na sobrang cool!
Making Letters and Making Numbers
your first writing book
Each letter or number is represented by an indented shape that a child can trace with a finger.
It introduces children to letters and numbers with fun and familiar illustrations.
Bea tracing the letter :)
She makes me trace it too :D
Ang galing no? Thumbs up sa maker nito. Tracing helps children begin to recognize letter and number shapes. It serves as the first step towards writing.

Ang gaganda ng books ngayon 'no? I hope Bea grows up to love books too. Susuportahan ko sya dyan.
